G. Abotts & Co. Limited - CORUS Concrete Wall Cutting

Hello John,

As you know our working history spans twenty Five years and more, but in this instance I felt had to write to you, regarding the wall cutting at Corus on the shut down project.

Never seeing the wire cutting in operation myself, this was another learning kerb for me.The cutting was complete as you described and finishing of the completed works, consisted of minimal remedial works for ourselves.

Steven And Stuart showed their professionalism through out the course of the operation and also including P.P.E and safety as ifit was a second nature to them.

This operation also impressed our client and on several occasions complemented on the works carried out.

Please could you pass on my thanks and appreciation to the team, on a job well done and completed safely with in the shut down deadlines.

Morgan Lovell on the Cheshire West and Chester Council project:

"D-Drill were on time and always strived to beat their programme. They worked to sequence and were very considerate to other subcontractors. Their progress was always up to date and so we had no need to request extra labour. Off-site works were always well managed and D-Drill kept us informed of exactly where they were and when anything would be delivered. Overall we found D-Drill to be very proactive at driving their own programme."

Mr Richard Comley, MD of Comley Demolition:

"We engaged D-Drill to carry out core drilling and saw cutting of a high level reinforced concrete canopy in a hospital environment. We found their manager, John, to be most helpful, giving valuable input into the design of a support system which allowed us to saw-cut the concrete canopy into sections prior to crane operations."

This approach to the project, working as a team and with our client, Kier, meant that the project was completed within budget and on time, without incident and to the satisfaction of Southampton General Hospital.
